Glenwood-based Pathways Wholeness Center has introduced a rapid testing program to provide safe inpatient treatment during the COVID-19 crisis.

—
Pathways Wholeness Center is considered an essential healthcare provider, and as such, the dedicated team is continuing to treat patients at its Glenwood, UT inpatient facility during the Coronavirus crisis. The risks of the virus are well-documented, and to promote safety and protect both patients and members of staff, the facility has introduced a rapid COVID-19 testing process. All staff members have already been tested, and new patients will be tested before their treatment begins.
The COVID-19 pandemic has turned the world upside down. While many people are able to stay at home, the Pathways Wholeness Center team understands the importance of continuing to treat those who need ongoing support. Patients who have addictions and mental health disorders cannot wait until the crisis passes, and the inpatient facility plays an integral role in providing essential treatment and guidance at what is a very challenging time.
Pathways Wholeness Center offers a broad spectrum of services, including individual and group therapy sessions, process groups and family therapy, equine therapy, experiential outings and psychoeducational groups. The inpatient center is continuing to offer targeted on-site treatments and therapies during the crisis, prioritizing safety at all times.
Talking about the center, Pathways clinical director, Brian Kingdon said, “I love the overall Pathways philosophy and how it's incorporated into the program at Glenwood. This setting of a small, peaceful community surrounded by the wonders of nature, in conjunction with Pathways' treatment program, creates an environment that is very conducive to the healing of a wounded heart and weary mind. We're focused on very personalized treatment and hold our clients accountable to their inherent greatness.” He added, “We provide case management and prepare our clients for successful transition to outpatient services. We help our clients lay the groundwork for a lifetime of wellness in whatever wholesome paths they wish to pursue.”
The global pandemic is affecting everyone, but people who have addictions and severe mental health conditions are particularly vulnerable. By continuing to run essential services and provide treatments, Pathways Wholeness Center is making a positive difference.
